Oceanside Light Blue Waterglass (style OGT132WF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a transparent light blue in a rippled waterglass texture.
Appearance
The sheet is a clear light blue, a soft sky tone that stays transparent and airy across the surface. One face carries the waterglass ripple, which rolls across the blue like light moving over water and gathers into bright highlights.
Working notes
The waterglass texture is on one face with a smoother reverse. A full fuse softens the ripple as the glass flattens, while a tack fuse keeps more of the surface movement. As a transparent it is brightest with light behind it and layers well over clear or lighter colors.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
