Oceanside Black Opalescent Noodles (style OGTN56F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, thin flat ribbons of solid opaque black glass.
Appearance
Glossy black ribbon-like strands that read fully opaque. The black is dense and solid, with a bright shine running along each strand.
Working notes
They give strong, solid outlines and detail: raised as lines through a tack fuse, softened flush into the surface on a full fuse. As an opal the black stays solid over any base.
Reactions
This color is not on the System 96 reactive list, so it sits next to other colors without forming a reaction line. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors that do react.
Using the noodles
Lay them on the surface for crisp stripes, borders, and linear detail across a fused piece.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with the rest of the System 96 line. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
