Oceanside Yellow Opalescent Noodles (style OGTN2602F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, thin flat ribbons of bright opaque yellow.
Appearance
Flat noodle strands in a strong, sunny yellow. The opalescent color is dense, so each ribbon reads as a solid, opaque yellow with a glossy surface, even and flat along its length.
Working notes
This bright opaque yellow stays vivid over both light and dark bases, good for bold linework and accents. Once fused it settles into the surface for clean stripes and lines.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Lay them on a base sheet to draw stripes, outlines, and detail lines, building linear patterns, then fuse.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a test tile first.
