Oceanside Yellow (style OGT161SF) is System 96 tested compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright transparent yellow with a clean even color.
Appearance
A saturated, sunny yellow, even across the sheet with a smooth glossy surface. Held to the light it glows; over a dark base it deepens toward a warm gold.
Working notes
It looks best over a lightbox or white base. A full fuse leaves it flat and glossy; a tack fuse keeps dimension between stacked layers. Layer it over other transparents for deeper color.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
