Oceanside Teal Green (style OGT5232SF) is System 96 tested compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a rich transparent teal green.
Appearance
This is a deep, jewel-like teal that sits between blue and green, clear and transparent with light behind it. The color is even across the smooth sheet with a glossy finish. Over the light it glows like sea water, and over a dark base it reads much deeper.
Working notes
As a transparent it shows best over a lightbox or a light base that lets the color come through. A full fuse leaves it flat and glossy, and a tack fuse keeps dimension between layers. As a copper-bearing color it can shade against sulfur-bearing glass where the two touch.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
