Oceanside Teal Green Transparent Waterglass (style OGT5232WF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a teal green transparent with a rippled Waterglass surface.
Appearance
A clear teal green that passes light, with a Waterglass surface of soft, flowing ripples running across the sheet. The ripple texture catches highlights and breaks up reflections, and the teal reads as a true blue-green where light comes through.
Working notes
The Waterglass ripple sits on one face while the reverse is smoother. As a transparent it lights up over a pale base and deepens where it overlaps. A tack fuse preserves the rippled texture and its play of light, while a full fuse relaxes the ripple toward a smoother surface.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other System 96 glass at 96 COE. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
