These are guidelines, not guarantees. Every kiln fires a little differently, so test a small piece first when the result matters and follow a slumping schedule suited to your glass and kiln.
Coat the forming surface with kiln wash and let it dry completely before setting your glass blank in place. The smooth ceramic surface accepts kiln wash uniformly. You may also use a boron nitride mold primer such as ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Primer as an alternative.

Place the glass blank centered over the mold. A slow initial ramp gives the glass time to heat evenly before reaching slumping temperature.
The mold is COE agnostic. Adjust the anneal soak temperature to match your glass: about 900 F for COE90, or 950 F for COE96.
Visually confirm the slump during firing, as glass viscosity varies by style and COE.
Re-coat the mold with kiln wash as needed between firings.
Bullseye Suggested Slumping Schedule
This is a suggested starting schedule based on slumping 6mm pieces in a Paragon GL24 kiln, not a guarantee. Every kiln fires differently. Visually confirm the slump during firing and adjust the schedule for your glass and kiln.

AFAP means as fast as possible, letting the kiln cool at its own natural rate with the door closed. The anneal soak in Segment 2 is at 900 F, suited to COE90. If using COE96, raise this soak to 950 F. Segment 4 is a full cool to room temperature.
