Choosing and combining shapes

Each shape arrives as flat precut pieces, so the design work becomes assembly rather than cutting. The ladybug, for example, combines a red body with black details. Pairing a shape with a contrasting background sheet, or layering wings in transparent colors over opalescent bodies, produces depth once fired. The two dragonfly sizes make it easy to build a grouping with a natural sense of scale.

Usage notes

These shapes are cut from 3mm COE96 glass and fuse with Oceanside and other COE96 compatible glass. Tack fuse to preserve the crisp precut outlines, or full fuse for a smooth, rounded finish. Keep each project within the COE96 system rather than mixing with COE90 components, and the shapes also work unfired in mosaic and glue-up craft projects.
