The Stell Sundials pattern radiates lines outward like the face of a sundial, repeating spoke and arc shapes that fan across the sheet. A Cyan/Dark Dark Red Aurora Borealis coating fills those radiating forms, the cool cyan and very deep red playing against each other along the spokes. The pattern comes on clear and black base, and the base decides how stark that color contrast lands. This pattern is by artist Chris Stell.
The coating on one side shifts with light and viewing angle. Cyan holds at one tilt, then a dark, brooding red surfaces with aurora flickers as the angle changes, so the sundial lines seem to swing between cool and deep warm. On clear base the radiating shapes glow with passing light; on black base the red goes nearly black and the cyan sparks against it.
Test a small piece first, since aurora coatings vary by kiln and setup.
