Mini Double Splatter scatters small, doubled flecks of dichroic coating across the surface in a fine, random spray, the paired specks giving the pattern a busy, speckled texture. On a thin black base the tiny splatters read like points of light dotted over deep shadow, with high contrast between each fleck and the dark ground.
Each small speck holds its own dichroic shift, so as the glass moves the field of flecks twinkles, individual points warming and cooling out of step with one another. The overall surface seems to shimmer rather than shift as one.
