Murrini, also called millefiori, are small cross-section slices of patterned glass cane. Place individual slices on the surface of a fused glass piece and fire them in to build a repeating floral accent across pendants, plates, suncatchers, and ornaments. A full fuse melts the slices flat and flush into the surface, softening the edges and integrating the color into the base. A tack fuse stops short of full melt, leaving the slices slightly raised with crisper petal definition. Fire a small test piece first and match your firing schedule to your specific COE96 glass.
