Each slice is cut square and shows a jewel like nested design: translucent red orange glass surrounding a crisp white square frame, with a small warm center inside the white ring. Light passes through the red orange areas, so the slices read bright over lighter base glass and rich and deep over dark. The clean geometry stays legible across the range of slice sizes.

A full fuse melts these slices flat and flush into the base glass, so the pattern reads as an inlaid detail. A tack fuse, run to a lower peak, keeps more of each slice's raised shape and surface texture.
