A full fuse will melt these murrini flat and flush with your glass surface, producing a smooth, integrated result where the bird motif blends into the base layer. A tack fuse, using a lower peak temperature or shorter hold, leaves more of the slice's original raised form so the nuthatch image retains a slightly three-dimensional character.
