Oceanside Almond Opalescent Frit (style 2107-96) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible frit, crushed almond cream opal glass for shading and accents.
Appearance
A warm almond cream opal with a soft pastel beige tone, even across the crushed grains. The chips vary in size and catch the light on their faces.
Working notes
Opal frit reads as a solid warm neutral rather than see-through, an easy shading and accent color that pairs with brighter tones.

Using the frit
Frit is crushed glass in grades from fine powder to coarse chips. Sift a light layer for soft shading, blend grades for gradients, or pack it deeper for casting. Finer grades melt smoother; coarser chips hold more grain.
Fusing and compatibility
Fires on the System 96 schedule with any 96 COE glass in the family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
