Oceanside Dark Blue (style OGT136SF) is System 96 tested compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a deep cobalt transparent blue.
Appearance
A strong, deep cobalt blue, even and rich across the smooth glossy sheet. Held to the light it glows a vivid royal blue; over a dark base it reads nearly navy.
Working notes
As a transparent it looks best over a lightbox or a light base that lets the color glow. A full fuse leaves it flat and glossy; a tack fuse holds dimension between layers.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other System 96 glass at 96 COE. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
