Oceanside Medium Amber Transparent (style OGT1108SF) is a warm amber transparent in a smooth 3mm System 96 96 COE fusible sheet.
Appearance
A warm medium amber that glows between honey and light brown, fully transparent, with a smooth glossy face, gentle tonal shifts, and no added surface texture.
Working notes
As a transparent, this amber brightens over a light base and turns deeper and more root-beer toned over a dark one. The smooth face carries through a full fuse, while a tack fuse holds height and rounds edges. It layers well over clear for warm depth or behind opal accents.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. Matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility across makers, so fire a small test tile when mixing brands.
