Oceanside Medium Amber Transparent Noodles (style OGTN1108F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible noodles, thin flat ribbons of transparent amber glass.
Appearance
A bundle of transparent amber noodles in a warm golden-brown. Light passes through the flat strands for a honey-like glow along their length, reading as a clear medium amber.
Working notes
They read darker where the strands cross or stack, hold as raised lines through a tack fuse, and melt flush on a full fuse.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the noodles
Noodles are flat ribbon strands for stripes, borders, and linear detail. Lay them on the surface where you want crisp lines.
Fusing and compatibility
It fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so test-fire a small tile first.
