Oceanside Orange (style OGT171SF) is a bright transparent orange on a smooth System 96 96 COE fusible sheet.
Appearance
A saturated warm orange, clear and even across the sheet. Held to the light it glows a vivid tangerine, deepening where it layers over lighter glass.
Working notes
The smooth face fuses flat and glossy. A full fuse brings the surface level, while a tack fuse keeps stacked pieces raised. As a transparent it passes light.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. Matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility across makers, so fire a small test tile when mixing brands.
