Oceanside Orange Opalescent Stringers (style OGTS2702F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible stringers, bright orange glass threads for lines and detail.
Appearance
A bright, warm orange; opalescent, so the threads read as solid and dense, drawn fine and even.
Working notes
They add strong color lines and accents, staying solid over any base.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the stringers
Snip them to length and lay them for outlines, borders, or linear patterns; they fuse flat at a full fuse or stay raised at a tack fuse.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with the rest of the System 96 line. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee a fit, so fire a test tile first.
