Oceanside Pale Amber Artique Transparent (style OGT1102AF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a warm transparent amber in an Artique-textured sheet.
Appearance
A warm, golden amber that stays light and transparent, letting plenty of light through. The Artique surface carries a distinctive crinkled, crushed-foil texture that breaks the light into many small facets across the sheet, and the color reads soft and honey-toned.
Working notes
As a transparent amber, this color glows over a light or white base and warms up over darker glass. The Artique texture face and the smoother reverse look different, so choose which side to show. A full fuse relaxes the crinkled texture toward a flatter, glossy finish, while a tack fuse or contour fuse keeps more of the relief and sparkle.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
