Oceanside Pale Amber Smooth Transparent (style OGT1102SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a warm golden amber transparent in a smooth 3mm sheet.
Appearance
A warm honey amber, fully transparent, with a light golden tone that stays clear and even across the surface. The smooth mill finish keeps it glassy.
Working notes
As a transparent it warms the light passing through it and darkens over a dark base. It keeps its clarity through a full fuse, and layering deepens the amber.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with any other 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a test tile first.
