Oceanside Rain Forest Pearl (style OGT602186CCF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a pearly opalescent swirl of green, gold, and cream with a Corella texture.
Appearance
This is a rich, marbled opalescent glass that swirls deep green, warm gold, and amber through creamy white, with a soft pearly sheen. The Corella surface adds a subtle rippled, mottled texture that catches light across the swirls. Each cut looks different as the colors drift and blend across the sheet like a forest canopy.
Working notes
The swirl and pearl effect run through the glass, so they show on both faces and shift with how you cut the sheet. As an opal it reads as a solid, light-catching color rather than a see-through. The Corella texture softens on a full fuse and stays more pronounced on a tack fuse. This is a copper-bearing color rated low on the reactive scale, so it can react softly where it meets sulfur-bearing glass.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
