Oceanside Sky Blue Transparent (style OGT5331SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a bright sky blue transparent in a smooth 3mm sheet.
Appearance
A clear bright sky blue with a light even tone and only a faint drift in density across the surface. The smooth mill finish keeps it glassy.
Working notes
It glows over a light base and deepens over dark; layering two pieces intensifies the blue. A full fuse keeps the clear, glassy read.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Format and sizes
Sold as 3mm smooth sheet glass. Choose your size from the options on this page.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
