Small Rainbow Decal Sheet

This sheet holds thirty-five small rainbow arch decals, each a classic semicircular arc in five color bands: red on the outer edge, then orange, yellow, and green, with blue at the inner curve, all finished with a thin black outline. The arches are uniform in size and arranged in a tidy grid, making them a practical multicolor accent for earring blanks, pendants, small panels, or any fused piece where a compact motif fits.

These are water-slide fusible glass decals. Soak a decal until it slides freely from its backing, position it on clean, dry pre-fired glass, smooth out trapped air and water, let it dry completely, then fire. Because the decal fires onto the surface rather than fusing as a compatible layer, it works with any COE glass, including COE 90 and COE 96.

Working Notes

Work only with clean, dry, pre-fired glass; oil, fingerprints, or residue can prevent even adhesion. Cut decals apart before soaking rather than soaking the whole sheet at once, and handle wet decals with care since they are fragile before firing. Because kilns vary, test-fire one decal on scrap before a full project, and anneal for the thickness of your glass.

Suggested Firing Schedule (a starting point only, not a guarantee of results): Fire to roughly 1275 to 1380 degrees F, held about 10 minutes. These full-color prints fire somewhat translucent, so they show best on white or light glass and lose strength on medium to dark glass. Every kiln fires differently, so test a small piece first and anneal for the thickness of your glass. Ventilate the kiln well up to 1000 degrees and fire slowly below 500 degrees.
50 degrees per hour to 185 degrees, hold 20 min.
150 degrees per hour to 300 degrees, hold 15 min.
250 degrees per hour to 500 degrees, hold 15 min.
600 degrees per hour to 1000 degrees, hold 10 min.
Then to 1275 to 1380 degrees, hold about 10 min.
Anneal for the thickness of your glass.
