Most slices in this jar show a soccer ball motif: a pale gray-white ball face patterned with black pentagon patches, framed by a dark green surround. The light face is the most visible feature of the patterned slices, and the black pentagons against it keep the classic soccer ball design readable even on the smaller pieces. A few pieces in the mix show the solid dark green of the cane side.
Murrini, also called millefiori, are small cross-section slices of patterned glass cane, so the patterned slices carry the same soccer ball image. Place individual slices on the surface of your fused glass project and fire them in place as surface accents on pendants, jewelry pieces, plates, dishes, suncatchers, and ornaments. These are COE96 murrini, so combine them only with glass of the same COE.

A full fuse will melt these murrini flat and flush with the surface of your base glass, incorporating the design level with the surrounding glass. A tack fuse preserves more of the slice's raised profile, keeping the design slightly proud of the surface. Test a small sample piece before committing to a full project, since kiln behavior varies and a test lets you dial in the result you want.
