Bullseye Reactive Cloud (style 000009) is a 90 COE fusible glass sheet, an opalescent color for fusing, slumping, and kilnforming.
Cold characteristics Looks similar to White Opalescent (000113) with a slight blue tint.
Working notes Part of a series that includes Reactive Ice Clear (001009) and Red Reactive Clear (001019). Reactive Cloud Opal is designed to react with copper-bearing styles and also reacts with silver. Reactive combinations have the potential to create an interface color, which may continue to develop through multiple firings. When combined with some copper-bearing styles Reactive Cloud creates an interface color that tends to be variations of pink, to red, to almost black. When combined with silver the reactions are more likely to develop as earth tones. Reactions are generally related to the amount of copper and/or silver within the components, heatwork, and surface area contact between the reactive components. Bullseye Compatible.
Reactions This is one of Bullseye's Reactive glasses. It does not contain copper, lead, or sulfur, but it reacts with copper-bearing glass, copper leaf, and silver foil or wire, forming a visible line where they meet.
Format and sizes Double-rolled sheet, 3mm standard thickness, with a rolled edge. Available in the sizes shown above.
Fusing and compatibility Tested compatible with other Bullseye glass. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
More of This Color The same Bullseye color in other forms: 2mm Thin Sheet · Frit · Stringers .
