This water-slide decal sheet is packed with a large assortment of small Christmas motifs printed in bright metallic gold on a neutral gray sheet. The designs include round ornament baubles with hanging hooks, a holly wreath with a small bird perched at its center, Christmas stockings, snowmen, wrapped gift boxes with bows, pine trees, snowflakes, a candy cane, bells with a bow, pine cones, bead garlands, stars, a poinsettia, and holly and botanical sprigs with berries. Each image is a clean outline-style illustration in consistent metallic gold, sized from tiny accents up to larger focal motifs, with enough spacing to cut them apart individually.
These water-slide decals are applied on top of pre-fired glass and fired onto the surface. Because the decal bonds to the surface rather than fusing as a glass layer, it works with any COE glass. Soak a cut decal briefly in clean water, slide it off the backing onto your clean, cooled glass piece, smooth out water and air, and let it dry fully before loading the kiln. The result is a sharp metallic gold detail on bowls, plates, panels, and ornaments.
What is on this decal sheet?
A large assortment of Christmas motifs in metallic gold: ornament baubles, a bird-and-wreath motif, stockings, snowmen, gift boxes, pine trees, snowflakes, a candy cane, bells, pine cones, bead garlands, stars, a poinsettia, and holly sprigs, from tiny accents to larger focal designs.
What glass can I apply these decals to?
These decals fire onto the glass surface rather than fusing as a compatible layer, so no COE matching is required. Use them on pre-fired glass of any COE, as long as the base has already been fused or fired first.
How do I apply a water-slide decal?
Cut out the motif you want and soak it in clean water for about 30 to 60 seconds until it slides freely from the backing. Position it on clean, room-temperature, pre-fired glass, then smooth out bubbles and excess water from the center outward. Let the piece dry completely before placing it in the kiln.
Do these metallic gold decals fire differently?
Yes. These are single-tone metallic gold designs, so keep the firing toward the lower end of the range to keep the gold dense. See the Working Notes for the full suggested schedule and test-first guidance.

Working Notes
Apply each decal to a clean, dry, pre-fired glass surface and allow it to dry completely before loading the kiln. Surface cleanliness matters: oils, residue, or moisture under the decal can affect adhesion and clarity after firing. These are single-tone metallic gold designs, so keep the firing toward the lower end of the range to keep the gold dense. Always anneal for the actual thickness of your glass and test a small sample in your kiln before committing to a finished work.
Suggested Firing Schedule (a suggested starting point only, not a guarantee of results; every kiln fires differently, so test a small piece first and anneal for the thickness of your glass): Firing range 1240 to 1370 degrees F, kept toward the lower end to keep the color dense. Ventilate the kiln well up to 1000 degrees and fire slowly below 500 degrees. 50 degrees per hour to 185 degrees, hold 20 minutes. 150 degrees per hour to 300 degrees, hold 15 minutes. 250 degrees per hour to 500 degrees, hold 15 minutes. 600 degrees per hour to 1000 degrees, hold 10 minutes. Then to 1240 to 1370 degrees, hold about 10 minutes. Anneal for the thickness of your glass.
