The Dreamcatcher Textured Fusing Tile from Creative Paradise is a double-sided ceramic texture mold that presses a dreamcatcher web pattern into the surface of a glass piece during firing. A pre-cut or fused glass round up to 9 inches in diameter is placed on the prepared tile and fired until the glass softens and settles into the raised relief.

The mold footprint is 11 inches by 11 inches, with a 15.5 inch diagonal, giving the 9-inch glass round room to rest flat on the textured surface. Because the tile is double-sided, flipping it over reveals a second textured face, so one mold offers two surface options. Like all ceramic kiln molds, it is COE agnostic and reusable across many firings when prepped and cared for properly. Creative Paradise shows this tile used alongside the LF228 Large Feather Trio mold in their product imagery.

Working Notes

These are guidelines, not guarantees. Every kiln fires a little differently, so test a small run first when the result matters and follow a texturing or slumping schedule suited to your glass and kiln.

• Prime the textured surface with a boron nitride mold primer such as ZYP Boron Nitride Mold Primer, or a kiln wash such as Hotline Primo Primer, and let it dry completely before placing glass so the texture releases cleanly.
• Place a pre-cut or fused glass round, up to 9 inches in diameter, on the prepared tile. Fire to a slumping or texturing temperature suited to your glass until it softens and picks up the relief.
• The tile is double-sided. Flip it over to use the opposite textured face for a different surface option.
• The mold is COE agnostic. Use a firing schedule matched to your glass and adjust the anneal soak for your COE.
• Let the kiln cool fully before removing the textured piece. Re coat the mold with primer as needed between firings.
• The Slide Hi Temp brand separator is not recommended with these molds.
