This sheet features ten classic rainbow arches printed in bold, flat colors, arranged in two columns of five. Each arch is a solid half-circle of concentric color bands following the traditional spectrum: red at the outer edge, then orange, yellow, green, blue, and a violet-purple band at the innermost curve. The bands are cleanly separated with crisp edges, giving each design a graphic, retro character. The two-column layout makes it simple to cut individual arches for use one at a time.
These are water-slide fusible glass decals. Cut out the arch you want, soak it briefly in clean water, slide it off its backing onto clean, pre-fired glass, smooth out water and air, and let the piece dry completely before firing. Because these decals are applied to the surface of glass rather than fused as a structural glass layer, no COE matching is needed and they work with glass of any COE.
What colors appear on these rainbow decals? Each arch carries the full spectrum from the outside in: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet-purple. The colors print in solid, saturated bands with clean separations that stay well defined after firing.
How do I apply a water-slide decal from this sheet? Cut the decal away from the sheet and soak it in clean, room-temperature water for 30 to 60 seconds until it slides freely from its backing paper. Slide it into position on clean, dry, pre-fired glass, then smooth water and air outward from the center with a soft squeegee or fingertip. Let the piece dry completely before firing.
Do these decals work with the COE glass I already have? Yes. Because the decal fires onto the surface of pre-fired glass rather than fusing as a compatible glass layer, no COE matching is needed. Clean, fully pre-fired glass of any COE accepts these decals.
How many rainbows are on the sheet? The sheet contains ten classic rainbow arches in two columns of five. Use the whole sheet at once or cut and store individual arches for separate projects.

Apply decals only to thoroughly clean, pre-fired glass. Oils, fingerprints, and kiln wash residue can all affect adhesion and final color. These are full-color prints, so they fire in the 1275 to 1380 degree range and read best on white or light glass. Anneal for the thickness of your glass.
Suggested Firing Schedule (a suggested starting point, not a guarantee of results; every kiln fires differently, so test a small piece first, and anneal for the thickness of your glass): On fused glass this full-color print fires to a final range of 1275 to 1380 degrees, held about 10 minutes. Full-color prints are semi-translucent, so they read best on white or light glass and lose strength on medium to dark glass. Ventilate the kiln well up to 1000 degrees and fire slowly below 500 degrees. 50 degrees per hour to 185 degrees, hold 20 min. 150 degrees per hour to 300 degrees, hold 15 min. 250 degrees per hour to 500 degrees, hold 15 min. 600 degrees per hour to 1000 degrees, hold 10 min. Then to 1275 to 1380 degrees, hold about 10 min. Anneal for the thickness of the glass.
