Golden amber yellow, transparent and glassy, like drops of honey or a pile of citrine; the balls glow a warmer orange gold where they are thickest and a lighter yellow at the edges. The color is deeper and warmer than a lemon yellow.
These beads of fused glass frit run about 3 to 6 mm, with a half ounce bag holding roughly 100 to 130. This is Bullseye glass in COE90; match it with tested COE90 glass. Bullseye lists 001320 Marigold Yellow as a striker with stable, consistent color and no published hold, so the amber you see is the amber to expect.
Does Marigold Yellow react with other colors? Yes. It carries sulfur and selenium and may react with copper, lead and silver bearing glasses; over Turquoise Blue, Light Cyan or Jade Green expect a dark interface line, while white, clear and black fire clean. Bullseye also rules the style out for kilncasting and cautions that long holds at high temperature can push it out of compatibility, so keep to normal fuse and slump schedules.
