Oceanside Red and White (style OGT3571SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a rich red marbled with white in a smooth sheet.
Appearance
A rich red marbled with white streaks that swirl in flowing bands, with warm orange and amber where the two blend. Streaky and semi-translucent, with a smooth glossy surface.
Working notes
The streaking runs through the glass, so every cut shows a different marbled flow. A full fuse smooths the surface while holding the swirl; a tack fuse keeps the edges of stacked pieces.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with any 96 COE glass in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
