This 4 by 5.25 inch decal sheet carries an assortment of ocean creature designs printed in a two-color palette of deep navy blue and warm gold. The sheet features a varied collection of sea life: a crab, an octopus, a sea turtle, a seahorse, a shrimp, a striped tropical fish, a plain fish, starfish in multiple sizes, conch shells, and clusters of coral and seaweed. Each motif is drawn in a flat, graphic style with navy blue as the primary fill and gold as a secondary accent, giving the collection a cohesive nautical character.
These water-slide decals are designed to be fired on top of pre-fired glass. Because they adhere to the surface rather than being embedded between layers, they are compatible with any COE glass. To apply, trim each decal close to its printed edge, soak it briefly in clean water until it slides freely off its backing paper, position it on clean, dry, pre-fired glass, and slide the backing away. Smooth gently from the center outward to release trapped water and air bubbles, let the decal air-dry completely, then fire.
What glass color gives the clearest results with these decals? These decals fire somewhat transparent on clear glass. They show best on white or very light-colored glass and lose definition on medium to darker backgrounds. For crisp, readable navy and gold imagery, start with a white or pale glass base.
What is on this sheet? The 4 by 5.25 inch sheet carries an assortment of ocean creature designs in a scattered, non-repeating layout that includes motifs of varied sizes, from small starfish accents to a large central octopus.
Are these decals compatible with my glass COE? Yes. Because these decals are applied to the surface of pre-fired glass and fired on top rather than fused as a glass-compatible layer between sheets, they work with any COE glass.
Do I need special tools to apply water-slide decals? No specialized equipment is required. A bowl of clean water, a soft squeegee or fingertip, and a lint-free work surface are sufficient. Soak the trimmed decal until it releases from its backing, slide it into position on dry, pre-fired glass, smooth it flat from the center outward, and allow it to air-dry fully before loading your kiln.

Suggested Firing Schedule (the manufacturer's recommendation, a starting point only): Firing range is roughly 1275 to 1380 degrees F.
