Oceanside Persimmon (style OGT27171SF) is System 96 tested compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a warm orange opalescent color.
Appearance
A warm, soft orange with a hint of amber, even across the sheet. As an opalescent it stays opaque, holding its color whether or not light passes through, with a gentle glow off the smooth surface.
Working notes
Reads as a solid orange over any base, so it works well for whole shapes and blocks of color. A full fuse brings the surface flat and glossy, while a tack fuse keeps stacked layers distinct. Pair it with reactive glass to develop shading where the two meet.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated low on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
