Oceanside Orange Semi-Opalescent Stringers (style OGTS171F) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible stringers, bright orange glass threads for lines and detail.
Appearance
A bright warm orange, semi-opalescent so it reads dense with a slight inner glow, drawn into fine even threads.
Working notes
Semi-opal orange stays strong over light or dark bases, adding bold lines, rays, and accents. They fuse flat at a full fuse or stay raised at a tack fuse.
Reactions
This is a sulfur-bearing color, rated medium on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a copper-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Using the stringers
Snip them to length and lay them for outlines, borders, or linear patterns.
Fusing and compatibility
Fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. With glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
