Oceanside Dark Green (style OGT125SF) is System 96 tested-compatible 96 COE fusible sheet glass, a deep transparent green on a smooth sheet.
Appearance
A rich emerald green, clear and even with a smooth glossy surface. Held to the light it reads as a deep transparent green, darkening toward a forest tone where it layers over itself or a lighter glass.
Working notes
The smooth face fuses flat and glossy. A full fuse brings the surface level, while a tack fuse keeps stacked pieces raised. Being a copper-bearing color rated high, it can react strongly against sulfur-bearing glass, as noted below.
Reactions
This is a copper-bearing color, rated high on the System 96 reactive scale. Fused against a sulfur-bearing glass it can develop a reaction line or a shift in color where the two meet, an effect fusers use on purpose for shading and depth. Next to non-reactive colors it stays true. See the System 96 Reactive Color Chart for the colors it reacts with.
Format and sizes
It is sold as 3mm smooth sheet glass. Choose your size from the options on this page.
Fusing and compatibility
Tested compatible with other System 96 glass, so it fuses cleanly with any 96 COE product in the System 96 family. When you combine it with glass from other makers, matching COE alone does not guarantee compatibility, so fire a small test tile first.
